Crown of Thorns cruising along the sand with some tiny hitchkikers

Akule at Airport Beach (Kahekili)

Just like at the bay, there is a resident barracuda that keeps the school on its fins.

Casper is doing well:

A number of crocodile needle fish hang out around the akule hoping for some scraps I assume.

Back to the Bay.....

Juvenile Hawaiian Hogfish:

On the way back from the Bay, off Slaughter House Beach, we encountered this snowflake eel just laying on the reef.

Back at Airport Beach, some Kawakawa were after the akule.

And the barracuda was also looking for any weak or injured or slow.......
