We encountered a juvenile green sea turtle off Blackrock that was making a meal of a headless akule.

She used her flipper to break the fish free with a bite remaining in her mouth

Down to grab her meal.

At one point she was down at the seafloor with the fish and something prompted her to take off for the shelter of the cliff.

She left the fish on the sand so I dove down to grab it hoping to return it to her if we could find her.

Ultimatelyh I dropped it back down and a kona crab came over and snagged it.
