These hatchlings were held back for a while after excavation of a nest and later released.

The turtle kept swimming to me and I put my hand out to encourage it to alter course and it crawled onto my hand and held on until I submerged my hand. It reminded me of how small fish will come to a snorkeler for shelter. It would swim to me or my camera. We got out in deeper water and I swam away from it.
