Since we had over a week of strong and at times large surf, the only seahorses I have seen, after the water cleared up, has been the two males. It appeared that both had hatched their fry. Today, 12-13-09, there was glassy water with just the occasional small wave coming through. I found one of the males and at times the water surface was refracting the sunlight, projecting the spectrum or "rainbows" on the sea bed and all in its path. You can see these underwater rainbows in a couple of the shots below. The first images are of a Rockmover Wrasse that is in transition from juvenile to adult.
