A pair of mating Anoles were on one of the rear deck steps and I sensed them looking up at me. I grabbed the camera and took a few shots. She apparently had been sheding and was in the process of biting away the skin when they coupled. She had a foot skin in her mouth the entire time. Looked lie she had a glove in her mouth.
After they parted, she went back to peeling off the old skin:
I have no idea if the anole "keiki" below is one of this couple's offspring or not, but it could be.
