
In the series of three shots below, Melinda bites into a branch of coral, lifts it out of the
way and then discards it.




A few minutes later she clearly found something of interest and was really working at
getting to it.



She was finally able to break a good size piece of coral away and you can see the sponge
that was on the underside of it in the images above and below. A sizeable meal.


As she worked at eating the sponge off the coral, the piece fell to the sand below. She
followed it down and stripped it clear of the sponge like meat off a bone. You can see the
cleaned off remains of the coral in the sand to the left of the interested wrasse below:
