I joined Cheryl King in a Hawksbill search today and we were not disappointed. The first turtle we encountered has an obvious deficit in it left rear flipper:
The second hawksbill we encountered was smaller with an obvious split in the rear of its shell:
A bit later we came across what we thought was a third hawksbill turtle but from the images below, it is apparent that it was the same turtle as above. It had swam out to the deep and then come back in onto the reef where we again encountered it. I reference the two white marks on its shell as well as split tail for ID.
Back close to the wharf and on our way in, Cheryl was still swimming and came across a cute little hawksbill!! I got back in the water with my camera and was able to get some shots:
