Conditions for the run time tests:
- Ambient temp was within 5 degrees for each pair of Hot-Cold tests and ambient was between 65F and 75F for all tests
- The test light was set standing on its tail and the light meter was approimately 1 meter above the light and the meter was roughly centered in thebeam of the light
- In the case of the "Hot" test, the light was free standing in air with no air circulation to speak of. In the case of the "Cold" test, the light stood in a rectangular metal pan filled with water (at ambient temperature) and the water level would be at or above the seam between battery tube and head.
